No need to convert it to non-standard units. High speed trains are not a thing on countries that don't use standard units.

SNCF and Alstom have cleared an important hurdle. The TGV-M is now approved to operate in France at speeds of up to 320 km/h. The new double-decker trains are already the fifth generation of the TGV with more seats but also lower energy requirements.
