Idk who is buying these. Isn't it all Nvidia or custom in-house hardware for most enterprises anyway?

Apparently this additional memory support is nothing specific or special to Gorgon Halo. All they did was use more dense memory modules. The same could be done on strix halo too.

It kinda makes sense - consumer PC segment is in the dump. But enterprises will always have to buy new hardware because the show must go on.

AMD has shown off three new Ryzen AI Max chips. All three are Pro-branded and support up to 192 GB of RAM. Specs-wise, they're not very different from their Strix Halo counterparts.
