Sollte ein einflussreicher ehemaliger Sony-Manager recht behalten, dürften weitere PC-Portierungen von PS5-Spielen folgen. Shuhei Yoshida argumentiert, dass Multiplattform-Spiele die hohen Entwicklungskosten von PlayStation-Exklusivtiteln auffangen. Bei Singleplayer-Titeln könnten die Verkaufszahlen auf Steam allerdings niedriger ausfallen als vom Publisher erwartet.
