Sad for the Wow culture, turtle was the best version of classic+, I guess these Breastmilk enjoyers won't understand closing pserver don't make us buy their shitty products.
This is a sad day. I've played on alot of private servers since l quit retail wow in 2012. Over the years I switched between alot and recently tried Turtle wow. I loved what they did. To me it was what wow should have been like.
Recently I started on stormforge woltk since that is my favourite expansion.i love the hard core community that is there. It gave a new meaning to wow.
The reason I play on private servers is not because of the money because on most l donate to help with the server upkeep.
It's because they give me the wow l like the play. Not what wow is now. It's not wow to me. It's a foreign game full of bots and gold farming cartels and Mafia.
Thats why liked Stormforge Hc. It felt like home from my childhood.
Stormforge is also closing. So I am sad. Not sure what l will do now. Maybe find another free mmo. But l won't go back to Bliz wow.
It is a shame Bliz didn't just licence their Ip and let the fans make their own dreams.
Turtle WoW, one of the longest-running World of Warcraft Classic private servers, is shutting down after Blizzard won a broad copyright infringement case and the parties reached a private settlement, ending the project's nearly eight-year run. The team has pushed all realms to the final progression patch ahead of a May 14 sunset (with full shutdown at midnight May 15), while its website and community channels are slated to go offline on October 16.
