Laut dem jüngsten Bericht von Digitimes will TSMC bis 2029 Chipsätze im Bereich unter 1nm fertigen. Nach der 1,4nm-A14-Node im Jahr 2028 will das Unternehmen dafür seine Standorte in Tainan nutzen, um die Halbleiterfertigung weiter zu verbessern. Apple MacBooks und iPhones gelten dabei als die wahrscheinlich wichtigsten Zielgeräte.
