Quote from: PT on Today at 09:40:26My main server is a 1L M920q Core i9 9900T with an 8GB RTX A1000, 64GB DDR4 3200 (CPU supports 2666), and a 1TB SSD. Got a Lenovo 130W power brick to power it too.

Took a dremel to it and made a 140mm cutout. Put a mesh filter and a Noctua fan on top. CPU runs 38C at idle but peaks at 69C. I will eventually 3D print a 2U case cover for it. This will also allow me to replace the low profile single slot GPU, eventually.
Quote from: Matt Smith on Today at 00:05:39I did something similar recently: took a ThinkCentre M90q Gen 5, with an i5-14500 CPU and 32GB RAM, and then rammed a  16GB RTX 2000 Ada into it using a custom cooling solution from a modder in Belgium. Nuked Windows and installed CachyOS Linux on it. Works beautifully. Fun project.

Hey Matt and PT!

Thanks for sharing these here! Could you email me a bit more info and/or any images related to your projects at [email protected]? I might put together a fun piece showcasing our readers' non-traditional setups at some point.

ITG Gear has modified a Lenovo ThinkStation P340 Tiny with a rare AMD Radeon RX 7400 8GB GPU and an i7-10700 CPU. The build is a great exhibit for the gaming potential of this compact workstation, especially for fans of small form-factor machines.
