Trotz Microsofts Bemühungen setzen viele Publisher weiterhin vor allem auf Steam und den PlayStation Store. Entsprechend gibt es bislang weniger Xbox-Play-Anywhere-Spiele als erhofft. Ein Leak deutet nun darauf hin, dass Entwickler zur Stärkung von Windows-Handhelds und Project Helix künftig einen höheren Umsatzanteil erhalten könnten.
