Tried this from Canada with the X300 Pro and definitely do NOT recommend it.
Phone required installing Google Play Store and Google Services and came with a *LOT* of Chinese language bloatware that remained in Chinese even though the system language and region was set to English Canada.
Could not get the phone to properly connect with Google Photos and my cloud photo storage.
Phone tried to update my Microsoft apps from the Vivo app store - in Chinese (and not the Google Play store where they were installed from).
And not sure it is related, but Apple Music app deleted the Cast function from ALL my devices after installing it on the Vivo Pro.
If you can't read Chinese, pay the extra and get the Global phone. Your time and life is worth the extra money.
