Ab sofort ist Breath of Fire IV als günstige PC-Neuauflage des klassischen JRPGs auf Steam erhältlich. Sie bietet die Originalgeschichte und das bekannte Kampfsystem in moderner, kompatibler Form, behält jedoch zugleich einige veraltete Spielmechaniken bei und stößt auf gemischtes Feedback seitens der Spieler.
