The Apple iMac is currently available with a high-resolution display with a brightness of 500 nits, although this is based on an old-fashioned 60 Hz IPS panel. This is set to change soon, as both Samsung Display and LG Display are currently developing tandem OLED panels for the next-generation iMac.
