Neuen Berichten zufolge plant Casio eine dritte ,,Manga"-G-Shock-Serie, basierend auf den Modellen DW-5600 und DW-6900. Die limitierten, in Japan hergestellten Editionen sollen dem Originalmodell GA-2100MNG folgen, das mit einem Verkaufspreis von 25.300 JPY (ca. 140 Euro) weiterhin einen hohen Wiederverkaufswert aufweist. Die Spezifikationen des Moduls bleiben voraussichtlich unverändert.
