29.6 ms and 42 ms pixel response times are of those of non-gaming business laptops. This is not a gaming panel.

Quote from: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SRGBsRGB (standard RGB) is a color space, for use on monitors, printers, and the World Wide Web. It was initially proposed by HP and Microsoft in 1996[2] and became an official standard of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) as IEC 61966-2-1:1999.[1] It is the current standard colorspace for the web, and it is usually the assumed colorspace for images that do not have an embedded color profile.
61% sRGB coverage makes it also a panel unsuitable for simple web browsing, if colors matter to you and it's not only about text. OMG.

As an owner of a nitro V 17 (the ANV17-41-R6YK) I can't ignore the fact that the biggest flaw of this pc is not mentioned:
Imagine you can only play 4-5h PLUGD IN.
The power supply is not powerful enough to charge the pc in any other mods than in quiet so when you play your battery discharge
You can't change the power supply as the pc it's not able to take more than 140w on the power supply (I tried a 330w power supply of Acer predator it still discharge)
It is still a very powerful and incredible in cost/performance but the fact that this flaw isn't mentioned anywhere even in this article.....
And fun fact don't try to contact Acer they will just say "it works as intended"

What is so special about this laptop to justify the added "AI" in its product name?

Only 16 GB RAM and 8 GB VRAM are not a justification at all.

Does it at least support up to 96 GB RAM?

Neither is the renamed Zen 4 8840 APU:
Quote from: notebookcheck.net/AMD-Ryzen-7-260-Processor-Benchmarks-and-Specs.945912.0.htmlThe 16 TOPS NPU present here isn't powerful enough for systems built around the 260 to be Copilot+ certified.[..]
[..]
Since the R7 260 is an 8845HS / 7840HS in disguise, [..]

How are these pixel response times gaming worthy?: With pixel response times of 29.6ms and 42ms, this is a true 1/0.0296 = 33 Hz and 1/0.042 = 23 Hz display.
And only 61% sRGB coverage is bad, too. The year 2005 wants its panel back :D
