SD card readers have almost completely disappeared from gaming laptops, especially in the budget segment. Models such as the MSI Katana 17, Lenovo LOQ 17, and Omen 16 no longer include one at all. Acer is taking a different approach with its Nitro lineup: both the Nitro V 14 and the Nitro V 17 still feature a built-in SD card reader.
