Sony Home Entertainment, also jene Sparte, die hauptsächlich Sony Bravia Smart TVs, Heimkino-Lautsprecher-Systeme und Soundbars entwickelt, soll künftig als Teile eines Joint-Ventures betrieben werden. Sony hält dabei nur eine Minderheitsbeteiligung, und gibt somit die Kontrolle über das eigene Smart-TV-Geschäft auf.
