Eliminating the need for roms? So you're saying it's way more convenient to have a bulky peripheral sticking out of your Deck that can only hold one game at a time, and only the ones you own, instead of having every SNES game ever made right on your Deck and easy to play, with more features than physical cartridges?
I'm pretty sure 90%+ of the buyers use it just for gaming with their cartridges... No need to insult the author just because you have a different opinion.
The GB operator isn't necessarily a tool to just play the cartridge versions of games on. It's also a tool used to edit and manage save files, export and import data and even to mess with game files on. To say using this tool or the GB operator as a means to eliminate rom files is so... Silly. It's a complete regression in thinking when it comes to where we're at in video game preservation and archiving.
Whether you have a PC, Mac, or Steam Deck, the Epilogue SN Operator can turn most computers and handheld gaming devices into a Super Nintendo that can play games on original game cartridges, eliminating the need for ROM files.
