Das Display des Hannspree Lumo soll auch in der Sonne einwandfrei abgelesen werden können, denn das Tablet basiert auf einem reflektiven LCD. Eine Frontbeleuchtung erlaubt die Nutzung im Dunkeln. Mit einem Stylus soll sich das Tablet auch zum Aufzeichnen handschriftlicher Notizen eignen.
