Dataminer auf X haben Dateien entdeckt – darunter Karten, UI-Strings und Event-Skripte –, die darauf hindeuten, dass das bislang unangekündigte Battle Royale RedSec von Battlefield 6 bereits in die aktuelle Spielversion integriert sein könnte. Ein sogenannter Shadow Drop, also eine Veröffentlichung ohne Vorankündigung, könnte demnach schon nächste Woche erfolgen. EA und DICE halten sich allerdings weiterhin bedeckt.
