keep licking those boots I'm sure Google will give you a free battery swelling pixel 😂. EU is single handily saving consumers from corporate corruption and anti-consumer tech practices across the West and you know it. resurgence of user repairability and upgradeability? thank the EU. slowing data collection practices from corporate entities? thank the EU. standardizing tech features like ports, software updates, warranties, battery safety, free open platform access like side loading, etc. the list goes on? thank the EU. but hey let your corporate daddies tread on you even more, I'm sure you love to be forced to pay $2k-$3k for tech with zero upgradeability, repairability, no warranty, battery sold separately, screen sold separately, and you don't actually own it since the company can remotely brick it at will.

The European Union has slapped Google with a €2.95 billion ($3.5 billion) fine for abusing its dominance in ad-tech services and favoring its own services over other competitors. The EU has also ordered Google to stop its anti-competitive practices in 60 days.
