You said it. Niche cases, so not worth it.

Mac Mini??? Dude are you drunk or something. This absolutely destroys the mini. The M4 is closer to the AMD Ryzen AI9 370-375, and well below the 395. Try the M4 Pro and you are getting closer.

[/quote] Oculink makes NO sense at all whatsoever on Strix Halo.
It's as pointless as asking for the Asus ROG NUC to come with Oculink.

Oculink makes sense on a mini-PC that doesn't have discrete level graphics.

Oculink on Strix Halo actually does make sense in a few niche cases.  Strix Halo does not support CUDA workloads and being able to add an Nvidia GPU in an external GPU enclosure for hybrid Ai Compute workloads would be nice.  The fact that there is USB4 means we can still take advantage of an external GPU in this manner Oculink is still the faster option if it were available.

Beelink has given the GTR9 Pro its first release. Now available with an AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 and up to 128 GB RAM, the Beelink GTR9 Pro has plenty of ports at its disposal while also looking like a cross between Apple's Mac mini and Mac Studio.
