Agreed but the weight tradeoff of using Nickel Cobalt Maganes (NCM) made this a deal breaker.

I will take the increase in safety, battery charging longevity and overall satisfaction with the higher weight and and slightly lower energy density delivery of LiFePo any day of the week in a product like this. So if you want all that you go Anker 548 or SOLIX C300 DC.

The other 300 trail model though is still a pretty compelling purchase if you don't need the light, the easier interface makes it look great for say aged parents at the cottage to charge phones, radios, lights etc. Or those of us willing to take this verses 6 or more power banks. Throw in a 100watt solar panel and you have sustainable emergency power in the sunny months.

Maybe a one sentence definition on what NEC stands for would help.

The EcoFlow Trail Plus 300 DC portable power station has been revealed. Set to launch in the US later in 2025, this model has several upgrades over another recently released model. These include an integrated cable, a built-in light and an NCM battery, which makes the accessory lighter than its predecessor.
