I recall reading somewhere (since James Webb was commissioned) that if another interstellar object was discovered (this is now the third!), that the James Webb telescope would certainly be pointed at it to get detailed observations. Granted that 3I/ALTAS was only found a little more than three weeks ago, that nothing has yet been officially planned, but I would have thought that at least somewhere in the media that this would have at least been again mentioned. Are you party to such discussions??

The interstellar object 3I/ATLAS is currently crossing our solar system at high speed. And it could well be visible to the naked eye as it passes.
