Problem is - no one thinks he can succeed. So no one is going along with it. There are no new car parts factories being opened up. Everyone is just playing the wait-it-out game.

Given most Amurican cars with a few exceptions are mostly trash, sucks to be an Amurican harder and harder everyday.

Trump should build a wall around the entire country and disappear from the global economy entirely. No one would miss them.

The tariffs imposed the current US President Donald Trump has seemingly started to hitting the US car market hard. According to a report by Automotive News, the imports of cars in May 2025 has shrunk by a whopping 72% over May 2024.
