Bandwidth-wise, 1440p@540Hz == 720p@2160Hz, much higher than 720Hz.

If it pairs scanlines rather than subpixels like other dual-mode monitors seem to, it should still be able to achieve 720p@1080Hz.

The achievement is equally impressive as the limitations are perplexing.

LG Display has prepared a new WOLED panel that hits 335 nits full panel brightness with a 540 Hz default refresh rate. Likely the same underlying panel that Asus teased last month, Super Display Co is the first company to acknowledge that this 4th OLED panel with Primary RGB Tandem technology can actually reach 720 Hz by lowering its resolution.
