Google has wasted billions trying to develop decent processors and are still several generations behind Qualcomm. This has raised the price of Pixel phones. If Google wants to sell more phones they should use Qualcomm's cutting edge processors.
For the Pixel 10 and Pixel 10 Pro, Google is said to be distancing itself somewhat from Samsung and having the Tensor G5 ARM manufactured by TSMC instead, which may make the chip both faster and more energy-efficient. Meanwhile, a leaker suggests that both models will come in four colours each.
