I have no idea what Casio is thinking with these watches. 5-6k € is serious money. One can get excellent automatics from some of the most prestigious watchmakers for that much or just a tad bit more, but also a lot less. Omega seamaster 300 diver or any of the Sinn U series come to mind. These watches will age much more gracefully than any G-Shock, no matter the materials. On the other hand if one needs a proper dive computer, this again isn't that. If these were in the rage of 1k€ to max 2k€ it woyld make more sense, but 5 or 6k€ is just mind boggling.

Casio has confirmed that the G-Shock Mr-G MRG-BF1000RG-3A Frogman watch will be released in more European countries following its recent launch in the UK. This is a premium diving watch with Bluetooth connectivity for a smartphone-based dive log. Other features include support for multiple world time zones, a stopwatch and Tough Solar charging.
