The "Xiaomi 16" series is all but confirmed to run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SoC by Qualcomm itself. The chip designer has announced that the prominent electronics OEM will continue to release premium smartphones and smartwatches with its silicon "for years to come". Xiaomi's next-gen routers, earbuds and even its cars are also likely to have Snapdragon platforms.
