According to early reports, AMD is designing its 'Sound Wave' APUs specifically for Microsoft's 2026 Surface lineup. Likely replacing the Surface Pro 11 and Surface Laptop 7 early next year, the so-called Surface Pro 12 and Surface Laptop 8 could be preceded by an upgraded version of the Surface Laptop Studio before the end of 2025, too.
