Why would you post this article? You're intentionally encouraging people to exploit this Indi devs mistake. This is awful

People are actually enjoying it, that's super dope. Five bucks is nothing (especially in this economy!) so I'll wait til they fix the mistake and will buy it as support

By posting this article, you are in essence encouraging people to take advantage of his mistake and are hurting this game dev's chances of financial success. As a game dev myself, I can tell you how much blood, sweat and tears goes into making a game and how upset I would be if I made the mistake he did. If you don't want to do it for his sake, do it for the sake of games, as he may not be able or want to make another game after this because of his mistake!

Did you even read his statement? The developer said  "I'm incredibly grateful for the warm reception the game has received so far (even if I fumbled the launch)" His game is now being played by more and more people now, mistake or not. and plus he is adding an optional donation button. Those who want to spend $$$ on the game will spend $$$ on the game.

Pipe down his "mistake" gets a ton more people trying his overpriced below mid looking card game. Reeks of a PR stunt, sharing his mistake publicly so everyone is in a dash to claim it over the dev keeping quiet and letting steam handle it discretely. Yeah right

A new strategy card game, Scrap Collector, is free on Steam due to a pricing mistake. The dev meant to charge $4.99 but set it as free. Players can claim it now before Valve fixes the error and restores its price.
