I wish comparison was made with the same laptop chassis. Neo 16 with the same config, except CPU.
5% gaming difference in 1k-4K resolutions could point to laptop difference, not CPU difference.
I would expect significantly more difference at 1k as opposed to 4k if the CPU was faster.

So one ... erm, "good"... thing about the 5090M really being a desktop 5070Ti is that it limits gaming to the point any flavour of R9 or U9 is going to perform almost identically?...

Avoiding the P core vs E core scheduling issues on this 13900HX would have me favour the R9, if pricing and availability aren't as much an issue they have been with Ryzen laptops for the past 2+ years... But right now it's looking even worse 🤬

It would have been informative to know the details of the RAM used in each laptop for these tests.

Together with the new RTX 5000 laptop GPUs, the new HX CPUs from AMD and Intel have arrived as well. We compare the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX with the Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX and compare not only the pure CPU performance but also the gaming performance in conjunction with the new RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.
