Don't like Apple Intelligence, George? Then, feel free to switch it off...

The edge in "upper mid-range phones".

Wow, can we slice the parameters even more to give Apple the advantage here?

How about "The edge in phones that have 'SE' in their names for people who want to spend more money than necessary"? Or "The edge in phones between US$500 and US$550."

The iPhone SE is Apple's budget phone, not their "upper mid-range" phone. It's only upper mid-range when compared to ALL other phones, even actual budget phones. The fact that it ends up being compared to everyone else's upper mid-range phones just underlines that it's not a budget phone at all.

As an iPhone 'X' user, the 'edge' is something I DO NOT WANT!! I'd rather buy a 'SE4' WITHOUT 'Apple Intelligence' as IMHO it is a useless feature.

Unless of course you just wish to drain your battery quicker. :)

The iPhone SE 4 is reportedly around the corner, and while the company is expected to cut some corners in hardware compared to the new lineup, it could support Apple Intelligence. This would be a big advantage over the upper mid-range Android phones.
