Or how about the same 250-ish mile rage at 40% less battery cost (assuming price parity with wet processing) for cheaper commuter/city cars. There are plenty of $45k-$50k+ electric vehicles on the market. But very few <$35k. The other article showed that people are willing to buy used electric vehicles now they are essentially price parity with used ICEs.
