Pros
Ryzen (better battery life than Intel) and Windows (full OS).

Cons
Form factor: 14-inch convertible (not sure if anyone is looking for a 2-in-1 of this size), 900+ grams without the keyboard (too heavy), 16:10 aspect ratio (why not 3:2 for more productivity space).

Unknown
Price, 50Wh battery can be good or bad depending on the setup.

Minisforum should make an 11-inch or a 13-inch 2-in-1 next using an ARM processor and Windows on ARM platform.  Priced it similar to Robo & Kalla with the right form factor.  I'm using R&K now and it's definitely more useful than an iPad Pro or Android tablet.

Let's not. Where I am at minisforum hx99g minipc with a 3 year old rx 6600m dgpu is like almost 1k. Even their zen4 apu with only radeon 780m igpu minipc is barely cheaper than a rog ally (which comes with a screen). So I'm expecting surface tier level pricing on this one, especially if it's of comparable build quality.
Yup, afraid of that too.
Hopefully it's on the 1000 $/€ range, but it might be higher.

How would it be comfortable using a 14-inch device in tablet mode, next we'll see 17-inch tablets

16:10 = no interest, no Surface / iPad alternative

I'd be way more interested if it's 13 inch or 12 inch. I'm looking for a good seatback entertainment laptop for flights in flight but also can do photo editing with the software I use.

If Minisforum doesn't ef anything up, this could be Microsoft's best Surface Pro competitor.

Let's see the price!
PS: a cheaper/thinner fanless version would be nice too! (just like the Surface Pro had an i5 fanless version).

The V3 will sport a 28 W Ryzen 7 8840U processor with 8 Zen4 cores, integrated Radeon 780M and powerful XDNA NPU, along with a high-quality 14-inch touchscreen, up to 32 GB RAM and 2 TB storage. Pricing info is expected to be revealed by late March.
