If only they put exhaust hole to Sideway instead of directly to hinge like they use to, user have room for additional vacuum cooler that reduce heat up to 15°C (in theory) so long they don't mind with noise.

everything is going according to plan. amd renoir should prove itself fast enough to be in top-tier laptops, vega 14nm has already proven itself hot enough to be in 1000+ usd laptops.

The ThinkPad E490 is available with an optional dedicated GPU. Similar to the predecessor, however, the cooling solution struggles with the additional heat, and even multiple BIOS updates did not change that.
