Unfortunately it's a really lazy port. I wanted to keep helping them but the games are broken and unplayable on my part. I've tried their forum and I basically get no answers

This would be great,  but the games don't work when you buy them from blizzard.  They run fine from GOG but the geniuses at Blizz put up an installation package that won't launch on without compatibility issues.

Exactly that.  The Hellfire expansion added so much to the base game.  I wouldn't want to play the original Diablo without it.

As Warcraft will celebrate its 30th anniversary late this year, it's not surprising to see Blizzard bring back the two games alongside another classic, namely Diablo. These titles are now available on Battle.net for $9.99 (Diablo and Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness) and $5.99 (Warcraft: Orcs & Humans).
