I remember being blown away by my OLED CX when I first got it in preparation for PS5 and Xbox Series X, it's still doing well despite some burn in. My plan is to replace it by a G model at some point and here's hoping that tandem OLED is used as I heard it can prevent burn in which is my only problem with OLED technology along with peak brightness which I believe is now addressed. According to various sources, LG Display is already in a position to show off its next-generation MLA-OLED panel technology. Due to be arriving next year, presumably during CES 2025 in Las Vegas, the new panels are said to be over 20% brighter than those that underpin the LG OLED G4 that will begin shipping this year.
