Bambu Lab has announced that it will be offering customers the option to install 'X1 Plus', a 3rd-party, open-source firmware for its X1 series of 3D printers. A switch to X1 Plus would involve some sacrifice, as it will permanently revoke the official warranty, and there's no guarantee of being able to use the cloud service or revert to the official firmware. X1 Plus introduces new features including automatic bed levelling and input shaping calibration graphs.
