Post by: Redaktion on August 25, 2020, 00:12:35
Recent leaks assert that NVIDIA has developed a new 12-pin connector that will supercede the 8-pin PCIe component often seen today. Now, a tipster claims to have been given the cables that go to this newer option. According to its images and rumors, its size is comparable to that of the current standard, but can be used to draw much more power.

guessing there will be AIB cards not using this connector or there will be adapter cables for existing power supplies.. seeing as there's none of these on existing power supplies yet and we're not long from upper tier Ampere launch.
