Codenamed the OEMQN Product Name EV1, the Core i5-1035G1 is likely an entry-level version of the Surface Book 3. Sporting a 256 GB SSD and 8 GB of RAM this time, the long-awaited Surface Book 2 successor is expected to launch sometime this Spring.

Imagine only including 8GB of RAM considering the cost of the base model.

It's criminal really.

I have been awaiting the release of the Surface book 3 for a really really long time now. How can they only be releasing Ice-lake processors for the Surface book 3 ? and with such weak specs? I can't believe this. I'd think this is more of a surface laptop 4 or a competing lower tiered surface product. Microsoft would not be so foolish to put such low specs in its flagship.
