Samsung begins mass production of second generation 10 nm chips

Samsung's second generation 10 nm SoC products deliver a 10 percent performance increase and a 15 percent power consumption drop when compared to their predecessors. These new chips use a new 10 nm FinFET technology known as 10LPP (Low Power Plus).
