Wer noch Windows 7 mit bestimmten Volumenlizenzen benutzt, muss sich auf das baldige Ende der Extended Support Updates (ESU) einstellen. Das Programm befindet sich nun im dritten Jahr und läuft Anfang 2023 aus. Nur die Server-Versionen bekommen unter Umständen noch ein viertes Support-Jahr.
