Toyota's future electric vehicles could use batteries from Tesla supplier LG, including cylindrical 4680-style ones. LG will form a joint venture over a 20 GWh battery factory in the US to serve Toyota's big vehicle electrification push, and make its EVs eligible for federal subsidies.
