An AMD Ryzen 7 Extreme Edition APU has been spotted on 3DMark revealing some of its secrets. The chip appears to have a base clock of 1.8 GHz and is an 8-core part that can utilize 16 threads. It has been speculated that the Ryzen 7 Extreme Edition could eventually find its way into a future Microsoft Surface device.

Just bought the customized NEC Lavie Direct N15 (R) with Ryzen 7 Extreme Edition through buy for me service provider. Total cost at USD$1740 to ship.
