Title: The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro gets a new Android 12L beta
Post by: Redaktion on January 29, 2022, 19:10:10
Android 12L will be the latest OS custom-designed for tablets from Google on its launch. Despite this, its latest beta version for Lenovo's high-end Tab P12 Pro is not rated for many new features. It has an upgraded security patch, albeit not one from 2022.

Do you plan to post full test of this tablet?
I'm mostly interested in the screen quality - opinions so far are mixed.
Some even say Lenovo continues to use infamous pentile displays.

There are no pentile displays in Lenovos modern tablets.
do you even know what an OLED pentile display is?
Funny how people hear bad info, and in lack of not knowledge, then runing with it.
Pentile OLED display - is a Samsung trickery, also why it's a Samsung trademark.
We have looked at both the Samsung 1600P AMOLED and the XIaoxin p11 pro-2021 and none of these are pentile OLED displays as per-say, as they have an equal amount of RGB subpixels.
also been talking with Ron Mertens owner of OLED Info org about the footage below, and none of these are OLED Pentile displays (uneven amount of RGB subpixels),

Here you can see a 4K macro shot between Samsung AMOLED and Lenovo's P11pro2021 OLED display and color reproduction..
I'm quite impressed with the OLED display in the Xiaoxin P11pro2021 and I'm getting some of the highest brightness - I have seen in an OLED tablet with just around 900 nits when peaking the light sensor and a round 630 with sliders.
doesn't seem you can insert YT vids, though end address with 4K macroview
