Although various analysts placed their initial expectations above the 1 million units mark, Huawei expects to ship only about 400,000 MateBook units this year.

As a Tablet this is better than Surface Pro 4. It is lighter, and actually in the range of Android/iOS ARM based ones.

And if the 10 hour battery life is realistic, its also better than Surface Pro 4.

The price range is decent for the starting model. $699 is pretty good. That's lower than the $899 for the lowest SP4.

Of course, above the Core m3 version, the pricing depends on how well the m5 and m7 models perform. m7 is probably not worth it, because it costs too much. But I can see m5 @ $999 as a decent deal, depending on the performance. So far, all the reviews have shown there's zero worth getting Core M above an m3 version. Can the Matebook change that?
