Title: I2Som PanGu, an STM32MP1 powered Raspberry Pi Linux alternative that costs ~US$72.50

The PanGu is an STMicroelectronics STM32MP1 powered single-board computer (SBC), which should offer good value for money for some developers. The board runs Debian Jesse and Yocto Linux and is available to order from Taobao for 499 RMB (~US$72.50).

Terrible price for the spec. Considering you can get a 4gb RAM RPi 4 for $55 and figure 8-32gb microsd for maybe $10-15 more this price is not great.

The only real advantage this has is the STM processors have a better developer accessibility, as in "I could put this chip on my device."

The Pi offers better value for the end computer user, but has limited access to those who want to do more than "get a computer and blink an LED."
