The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti has been benchmarked in Ashes of the Singularity on the Crazy_1080p and Crazy_4K presets. Inevitably, people have been drawing comparisons between the RTX 3060 Ti and AMD's latest cards, and it does not lok good for NVIDIA's upcoming budget offering. The Radeon RX 6800 outperforms the RTX 3060 Ti across both presets, and by quite a margin.

You mean to tell me that a card that costs $180 more and beats the 3070 also beats the 3060 Ti?
There were some articles that, mistakenly, were describing 3060Ti performance at 2080Ti (so close to 3070) level. At least this article puts it at 2080S, not 2080Ti/3070 level.
Why are you even including the RX 6800 in this comparison? The RX 6800 competes with the 3070, not the 3060 Ti, and there it falls short of the 3070. There is no AMD card yet that competes with the 3060 Ti. Trying to make AMD look good by comparing it against a card that it was never meant to compete against is a sign of fanboyism.
and to think retailers are thinking there last gen cards that are 2-3x the price are ever going to sell
Who cares which card is better? You won't be able to buy either one of them.
