A new research report has concluded that the market for wireless headphones worldwide will accrue a value of approximately US$42.1 billion over the next 6 years. This growth may be based on the demand for products that connect users to their smartphones, tablets or TVs, as well as using them while working out or consuming content.

What I want:
- BLE 5.2 audio for much longer battery life and therefore longer life of earphones overall due to less battery charge-discharge cycles
- Multi-device pairing
- Lower latency (is possible with AptX Adaptive)
- Reliable connections and perfect left-right sync (is also possible with BLE 5.2 spec)
- Something like Qualcomm's TrueWireless Stereo Plus integrated (although BLE 5.2 may make it unnecessary)
Then they may be worth replacing my wired ones which still have the huge benefit of no charging or batteries but wireless may be forced on us due to no 3.5mm jack
