Charging just 5 percent every two hours even on a bright sunny day isn't going to break any records. The portable solar charger from Choetech is best used as an auxiliary or backup tool to a standard battery bank for those extra-long trips.

This test doesn't seem right and something is wrong here. You should check the output with the USB volt meter, many good ones available on Amazon.
I've used "15W" foldable panels that yield nearly 2A at 5V, charging my phone up in a few hours.

Agreed, I have a rav power 25w charger, have had it for years now and in 10 hours it will charge my phone completely plus an iPad...

Agreed there, I've got a 21W foldable panel that on a sunny day without much care to placement was yielding 8W. Charged my phone in an hour and a half then went on to charge my pinebook pro.
You must put your device under the solar panel or in the shade. It will overhear in direct sun and cause charging to shut down and possibly heat damage your device. I have a 15 watt with Sun cells I've used over two years and it works perfectly. That panel must not put out anywhere near it's specs.
I have used a 14W solar panel with indirect sunlight and charge at least 50% in a hour. My 40W will fully charge my phone in direct sunlight within a hour.
Something may be wrong with the product you tested.
No wonder it was so slow. You had your phone in direct sunlight. It would've gotten too hot to charge safely and throttled right back to a trickle charge. You need to place the panel in direct sunlight while shading the phone. Try that and I bet it will work a lot better. A solar panel that size should do better than 2.5%/hour, surely.
