Absolutely crazy price nowadays for a Tablet to cost more than a performance gaming laptop..

No 3.5mm jack is a no go.

I am a little confused regarding PWM used in this device. Is it under 20% of brightness or under or equal to 1% of brightness?

I bought one and it absolutely sucks. Freezes constantly, battery is good for about 6hrs., Samsung internet is a joke and unresponsive, what customer service? Nonexistent...

BTW have you tested the battery life under 60Hz screen?  If you haven't, grateful if you can update the test with 60Hz screen please.

I owned 11" and 12.9" iPad Pro previously and their high refresh rate (120Hz) screen is only active during certain conditions (not all the time).  It drained the iPP battery also if the high refresh rate is imposed/turned-on consistently.

I bought the same 8GB RAM model. Works great so far. Worth the money when compared to the equivalent ipad pro. Having said that, while this can multitask better than the ipad pro, neither this nor the ipad pro come anywhere close to a laptop replacement when it comes to work. Windows is still kind thanks to desktop software. But these tablets are great as companion devices and also as portable high end second monitors.

I also read that the battery life takes time to settle.  After a week or so, the battery life is getting better for this tablet but from what I read, there's still a large variety of numbers were quoted (ranging from 5-6h to 8-10h).

Agree with Digitalguy.  Few flagship Android tablets (MatePad Pro, Tab S6 and Tab S7/S7+) are comparable to iPad Pro in everyday usage.  I am using synthetic benchmark numbers as a guide only given that they're simulated in controlled environments (except for battery life tests).  I believe more on whether you're invested in Android or Apple environment.

Both Android tablets and iPad aren't good enough as a laptop replacement for everyone but sufficient for some.  I definitely fall to the earlier category.  Personally I've been trying over few different tablets the past 2 years but at the end, in my use case, I realised if I want one device only for my workflow, I will be going with Windows on ARM devices (enjoyed using Matebook E 2019 and Surface Pro X) or Chromebook.  While with iPad or Android, I will still need either another laptop or desktop.

Same here, if you look at the graph you would notice that the wave height is much shorter when above 20%. But in any regard I don't think it is DC.

What do you mean "FINALLY" ?  Samsung produced at 12.2" Android tablet 18 months before Apple thought of it... in 2013... I bought one and it was brilliant,, actually still running.. coupled with the HM5100 bluetooth Spen / phone it never left my side... perfect for being on the road, sketching, emails, research.. etc ...  currently have an S4 but miss the larger form factor... this is on my bucket list

Interesting to read about the Tab S7 plus comments on the WiFi performance.
I noticed similar issues when using the Netgear AX12 router which is on latest firmware! I changed the router for a Asus AX86 latest firmware and the problem went away! Is this TAB S7 plus being penalised for what is a Netgear issue? Interested to hear the testers comment's

Maybe I am reading this incorrectly, but the article shows the basic Samsung Galaxy S7 plus listing on Amazon for under $400.00, with the 12.4 inch screen. I have been interested in this tablet since October 2020, when my Samsung Galaxy tab pro SM T900 (12.2 inch screen) died. In my area, and on Amazon the S7 plus starts listing at over $500.00 for a basic 128Gig memory, no keyboard or cover and is around a grand, ($1000.00) or more for the S7 Plus with the highest amount of memory. Considering what I paid for my SM
T900, in 2014, which was around $200.00, I think $1000.00 is a bit pricy, considering I can get a laptop/notebook that includes 500+gig memory, keyboard and solid cover for less than $1000.00! `I am also a medical professional, and bought a Samsung Galaxy S20FE before Christmas and am suppose to get a discount as a licensed medical professional, but so far I haven't gotten anything, even though I am registered with Samsung as medical professional and first responder.

the review is a lie, there is no dc dimming, please do you homework.
