HDMI 2.1, announced at CES 2017, sounds like an iterative change over HDMI 2.0—but it's anything but. With over 150 percent more bandwidth than HDMI 2.0, it will support resolutions up to 10k and 120fps. Other details will be released in Q2 2017.
